i ave been diagnosed with stage 2 of stomach cancer. I've had 3 endoscopy with the hope the could remove the caner in stomach. i was told this will not happen after the pictures  taken which i have seen. i have been referred back to the surgeons . now i am waiting for the MDT to seem how they are going to proceed with the treatment. i have to mention i have muti health issues. the surgeon on my first visit told me i would not survive the operation to remove stomach . this i why i have doing at least 8000 steps and other exercise. just wanted to put it out there . any help be grateful

  • I hope that they come up with a treatment plan for you, maybe ask about the surgery even if you have multiple health issues, good luck to you

  • You're doing the right thing keeping your fitness up.

  • You're doing the right thing with keeping your fitness level up. It's going to be a long journey with the treatment's and tests then hopefully surgery. I had operation nearly three years ago it took me a while to fully recover, but I kept a positive attitude that I was going to do to get through it. It's hard but with the support of friends and family I now lead a fairly normal life doing things I want to do when I want to do them. I have the occasional rough day but it's not very often. Stay positive and you will be Ok.

  • I think the exercise is a good approach. Even if they decide to operate, they are likely to do some chemo first, and being as fit as you can is a good idea before the chemo starts.
