Hi all,

My husband is due to get his next scan results next Thursday.This is second line treatment,he is on Docetaxel as Folfox didn’t work.We have an appointment for a video consultation and I am wondering would she tell us bad news over this appointment for instance that this hasn’t worked either.Has anyone experienced this and been given bad news

This must be such a stressful and difficult time for you as you wait for the results of your husband’s scan. I don’t have direct experience of video consultation but it does seem that this or a phone call is now more common since COVID. I would approach it in the same way as a face to face consultation with a list of questions ready.
I do hope you get positive news and that the treatment is doing its job!
