Hi,
just wondered if anyone has had a vertebrectomy, and what was their experience of this?
Thanks
Adrian
Hi
I haven't had this procedure but noticed that your post hasn't had any responses. I typed 'vertebrectomy' into the search bar in this group but no previous posts mentioning this came up so it looks like no one in this group has had this procedure.
I know it's not the same as hearing about someone's personal experience but you could ask about the operation, etc in ask a nurse and one of the specialist nurses will aim to respond within 2 working days.
Wishing you all the best

Hi Adrian,
I have just joined after recent diagnosis. How are you finding your treatments?
This won’t be relevant to you now as your posting was in June but I have one strong dose to two areas in spine, neck and thoracic where tumour pushing on cord. Burned my skin immediately. Could feel it like spending three hours in full sun with no sunblock. Said to take four weeks to continue it’s stuff which is to shrink the tumours. This is day four. I keep waiting to notice change, good change.
A good number of my vertebrae are compromised with cancer and I have to be careful physically for now
I have not had any other meetings but given strong but decreasing steroids and taking letrozole again.
Best wishes,
