Just got the results of right thigh muscle biopsy which confirms myxoid liposarcoma due to start 5 weeks of radiotherapy to shrink the tumour before surgery, would welcome any advice about side effects and post operative recovery as normally very active and feeling anxious about how I will cope .

My name is Steve and I am one of the community champions and my experience of cancer is via my wife who has Leiomyosarcoma.
My wife's tratement has not to date included radiotherapy so cannot really comment on that but she had a number of surgieries. Something quite useful is linked from the sarcoma uk page on myxoid liposarcoma with the link to their rahabilitation hub.
