Hi all. Found out today i have a stomach GIST. But still waiting on genetic typing for final diagnosis and treatment plan. Been 2 weeks since biopsy. Wait is driving me mad!

Sorry to see you join our happy band. My wife's cancer is different - Leiomyosarcoma - and now I feel it hard to remember the time between "we think you might have cancer" to getting the final diagnosis since this all happened about 12 years ago.
Waiting for the the results of tests can be really difficult, even more so when sometimes results come back as unclear/uncertain. The one plus I discovered is that the worse things are the easier they can be to diagnose - so quick might not be the best news.
Then of course we got a treatment plan the we wait for treatment to start - then we wait for a scan and wait for the results. We have a pet name on here - scaniety but it can be helpful to remember results can be good as well as not so good.
