Hello I'm french
I registered on this forum because in France there is no on Sarcomas
My wife (36 old) was diagnosed in September 2022 with a grade 2 synovial sarcoma, she has a 9cm tumor in her calf
The protocol is Chimio > Radiotherapy > Operation
I wanted to know if other people have gone through this cancer, so I can share
Thank you
Hi Sherwood and welcome to our community though sorry nobody picked up your message.
My wife's sarcoma is quite different to yours - hers is Leiomyosarcoma believed to be of gynaecological origin (it's a long story...)
Looking on here most posts that mention synovial sarcoma seem to be fairly old so people may have drifted away after finding whatever answer. We do have some collected wisdom through the years on our main site here. Another really useful site in my experience is Sarcoma UK
For my wife she only had chemo since radiotherapy and operations were not really on the cards but we appear to have rendered her cancer stable - now living with cancer rather than anything else and we will take that for all we can.
<<hugs>>
Steve
