Hi, not been here for a while. Had my total hysterectomy in august, after 19cm sarcoma removal in my uterus.
I’ve recovered really well and even started Pilates again a couple of months ago.
Since yesterday, I’ve had a few sharp groin pains, and in my tummy, like little twinges. I’m extremely paranoid about recurrence, and had my last CT scan the 10th November, and my pelvis was still clear.
Does it sound normal? I’ve not done much the last few days, so def not over exerted myself!
Thank you
Jane xx
Hi . I'd recommend to contact your Consultant on an urgent basis.
I myself have had 4 quarterly check-ups, all in person after my hysterectomy last September. (I was stage 1B/ grade 3 with no LVSI or Lymph nodes)
In August last year noticed I had a few stomach pains and shortness of breath. As all clear with gynae team, my GP referred me for Xray which came back clear then a CT scan which has unfortunately shown I have lesions on liver and spleen and 3 masses in my abdomen.
So I'm now on Palliative chemo, just started on 6th December, had second session on New Years Eve, next on 21/1. After that I'll have a scan which I pray will show the tumours have shrunk.
Hugs, Barb xx
