Hiya,
I have had a red dry patch on my back for several years and it has not changed or grown in size
I decided to get it checked so used Livi and was prescribed Efudix cream to use twice a day for a month.
Today I had a follow up video appointment and showed her that it was very red and a bit weepy. She has now referred me urgently to see a dermatologist and I'm worried. I thought the side effects of the cream was redness and crusty scan etc.
Should I be worried?
I would not worry until you see a dermatologist, they could look at your back and diagnose it on the spot as a skin condition or something easily treatable or if they are unsure they will do a biopsy and you should have the results after a few weeks! No point in worrying until you know what you are dealing with.
