i had plastic surgery 3 weeks ago to remove a BBC.  A flap if skin was used from the side of my nose.  Yesterday I had a bulge in the flap about the size of a large blueberry.  It burst and was full of pus.  There is also another spot at the side of my nose that has pus in it.  I went to a walk-in clinic yesterday as it was Sunday and they put me on antibiotics and an antibiotic cream.  The side of my face was swollen and red. I cant see my specialist for 2 more days.  Anyone on the forum with this experience?

  • Hi Sorry you haven't had a reply as yet.

you could call the Macmillan support line and speak to a nurse for advice.I had biopsies on my nose and face over a week ago. They gave me phone numbers of who to contact if any problems. Can you contact the ward/clinic you went to for your surgery for some advice or the consultants secretary ? I hope you can get some help with this
