I am going to see Plastic surgeon for Squamous Cell Carcinoma on top of nose. I was referred to dermatology on 2 week referral but had Ai analytics and had to wait a further three weeks to see a dermatologist who said I needed to see Plastic Surgery for removal and skin flap. I am having consultation on Saturday and terrified as it's grown so quickly

I'm sorry to read that you are terrified about how quickly your squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) has grown and I hope that the consultant at today's appointment will be able to reassure you that most SCCs can be completely removed.
I haven't had SCC but I have been treated for melanoma and basal cell carcinoma in the past so know how worrying the waiting can be.
