Hi, i feel a bit silly as all i have had is a blood test and x ray on my back. My test results showed slight elevation on WBC (11), also 7.2 on PSA. I could see my results on my NHS App but since i had an X ray on my back today i can no longer see my test results and am worried there is a big problem. A doctor did a prostate exam and it said enlarged but smooth. I suffer from anxiety and its gone through the roof. Should i be worried.
I know this is more to do with my anxiety and am sorry if i am wasting anyones time.
Hello Gordon (Angsty)
Most hospitals will accommodate any pre-booked holidays and are happy to work round them.
Here's our guide to the biopsy - I had the older TRUS biopsy and believe you me it's much more painful than the newer TP biopsy.
I hope this helps.
Best wishes - Brian.

At this point i am not going to look at TPB, i am sure you understand. If it were up to me, lets say i have a result which requires biopsy, do you think i could delay this until September? I would feel a bit cheeky asking, it would feel like i was 'special'.
Hello Gordon (Angsty)
My personal view would be to get it over and done with then you have no anxiety waiting and you know your results earlier.
I am sure if needed they would delay it because of holidays.
Best wishes - Brian.

I agree, get it over and done with, i am not trying to hide lol. Its more the July holiday, because i am going solo i just dont fancy recovery on holiday. I had a missed call today from MRI so expect an app next week. My bone x ray results came back, normal, no action so thats good.
