Hello purplefan A warm welcome to the online Prostate Cancer Community - I know you don't want to be here but it's a great place for help and advice - and we are a decent bunch !
The memory loss and lack of ability to process information is commonly called "Brain Fog" - it's common with men on Hormone Therapy and also ladies on the menopause. It doesn't affect everyone but it is there. You tend to forget things or can't remember instructions so it's a normal side effect of Hormone Therapy. I hope this above helps.
To help you even more can I ask you to stick a little bit about your husband and his diagnosis (Gleason Score and TNM staging and PSA) on his profile. To do this go to your home page, click on the chair in the top right and then "profile" and then "edit". You can read my profile by clicking on my name or avatar.
Feel free to ask any questions and join in any conversations - no questions are too trivial.
Best wishes - Brian.
