A warm welcome to the group although I am so sorry to find you joining us.

We are a mixed group from people with T2 and Gleason 6 to people who are T4 and Gleason 10 and all points between. Initial PSA's from 2 to 2000+. Treatments range from Active Surveillance through to Chemotherapy and beyond.

Your treatment of Hormone Therapy (to remove your testosterone and thus deprive the cancer of it's food) followed by Radiotherapy (to kill off the cancer) is a fairly standard approach for a T3b and I hope it works for you.

You have passed the diagnostic stage which is the hardest part of the journey - it's just a case now of mastering all of the side effects of the treatment.

Feel free to ask any questions - everyone is more than happy to share their personal journey, and nothing is too trivial - indeed may of us have a record of it which you can read by clicking on our user name or avatar.

As Millibob says - welcome!

I am on what is known as Triplet Therapy - double doses of HT and then chemo (which I finished in May. Next week I am hoping to have a conversation with my oncologist about RT.

I am on Zoladex (12 weekly) and Darolutamide daily - for life - both Hormone ADT drugs, so happy to answer anything in my experience.
