Ok so not too bad, low PSA, medium aggressiveness.
Just escaped outside the gland but not affected anything else like nodes etc.
So, still potentially curable, HT being used to quieten things down before a dose of RT which should finish the cancer off.
Am sure things will be ok, hope all goes well and keep us posted, any other questions please ask
Best wishes
Steve
Hi ToFo.
Just to say hello and that I had 20 sessions of RT in February/March and am still on HT. The RT was easy, there was a bit prep to do before each session so that the bladder was full and bowels empty. The main side affects I've had from HT is hot flushes.
My pre treatment PSA was 14, Gleason 5+4=9, T2 M0 N0 and my PSA is now 0.06
Best wishes on your journey.
Regards
Peter
Hello ToFo - A warm welcome to our exclusive "club"!
Late to the party as ever but I would only be saying what Grundo and Outdoor Walker have already said.
I am on the HT/RT route and you can follow my journey by clicking on the icon of the beach. I am 22 months into my journey - I have had the up's and down's - my initial diagnosis was much worse than yours but as I sit writing this reply I feel amazing.
Feel free to ask anything you want - however trivial you may think it is. Keep us posted on your progress.
Best wishes - Brian.
