I’m Les and have local metastatic prostate cancer after radiotherapy failed. Doing well on abiraterone. i’m researching alternative therapies to widen the scope for treatment and even cure. I’ve been reading around metabolic therapy. It aims to block the pathways that feed prostate cancer. Very interesting.

  • Hello Les my husband has metastatic prostate cancer and he has been offered reflexology and acupuncture.  He is on the waiting list for acupuncture he has had two sessions of reflexology he finds it very relaxing.

The treatments are to help with hot flushes and fatigue from the hormone therapy.

I will interested in finding out about metabolic therapy so thank you for highlighting it.

  • Hi Sue. I will definitely put myself forward for reflexology and acupuncture when I discuss it with my Oncologist.

some scientists are researching metabolic pathways as an alternative to treating cancer.
