Hi all,

I'm Paul. 6 months post prostectomy.

Physically doing well, mentally having a wobble I just cant get to the bottom of after returning to work.

Thanks Paul

  • Hi Paul

You’re just worried about what you’ve gone through. You might think all is well but that little voice in the back of your head, is telling you different, try and keep positive with whatever your doing, what you went through had It’s stresses, just need to put your brain back in gear.

    Stay safe

  • Thank you Joe.

I appreciate your reply. Still waiting for the 3 psa test to happen as the last one had a slight increase. As most of use do, Ive been through positive and destructive times this last year.

Its hard keeping going when Id like to jack everything in.

Just read your biog and sending hope and best wishes.

  • Hi Paul

I have a good wife looking after me, giving up is never the answer, means it has beaten you, we never accept defeat, this disease is curable when caught early, treatable like me when it’s not, thanks for the wishes hope all comes back OK.

    Stay safe

    Joe

  • Hi Paul

It's a life changing thing Prostate Cancer and the effects of the diagnosis and treatment are always at the back of your mind - especially when a PSA test is due.

But as joeven said above, you are through the worst, you have had the stress, stay positive and look to the future - as they say - things will get better.

We are all here for you - you take care.

    Best wishes

    Brian.

  • Thanks Millibob,

I have been through phases of defiance and not caring what happens phases too.

Its the affects on the day to day life that is grinding me down at the mo.

Fatigue has been the worst for me. some weeks Id sleep 18 hours a day which is now impacting my job and my attitude towards the day to day.

Off to Andys mans club tonight so let the healing begin.
