I use “insurance with” very reasonable and I go away 3/4 time a year

We have an annual insurance with our bank. They refused to cover the prostate cancer until the radiotherapy was completed. Once we got through that they reinstated cover at no extra cost despite ongoing hormone therapy.

We have an annual policy with All clear. My wife also has issues too (medical I should add!!) and we used our local broker to sort our policy out. He found that speaking to them rather than completing the online form worked well.

Hope you get sorted both with insurance and PC.
