PSA 10 . GLEESON 4+3. MRI and  GAMAGRAM were both negative. cells also found in seminal gland.

  • Maybe because cancer cells found in seminal g. they want to be sure by doing some RT as well,

My blood test on 25th August, 7 weeks after surgery on July 8th, showed PSA of 0.01.  At my appointment with the Surgeon on September 9th I was told that I would be referred to Oncology Department . I'm still waiting for an appointment with oncology to find out details of RT.

I'm thinking of foregoing RT unless/until the PSA rises.

    Any thoughts on that?

  • Difficult one, I would ask why they want to do RT with PSA ok, is there a particular reason.

Any rise though, Go for RT.

Perhaps their thoughts are belt and braces approach.seminal vesicles outside gland I think so could be the reason. Seminal vesicles may not have been found out until prostate gland taken out and dissected.

Bit of guesswork on the last sentence though
