Gleeson 3+3  6 found.

PSA destiny 0.08

Not sure what options to take next.

Thanks for letting join.

Dave.

Update Aug 10 my oclogisc not sure how it spelt, said it's that low he will put me on active surveillance.

  • Welcome Dave, there are lots of people in this forum who are on active surveillance, who can help you.

I was on it for 4 years, then my PSA levels rose and I was diagnosed T2 Intermediate risk last year.

After Hormones and 20 fractions of VMAT Radiation I am now in Remission.

The tunnel in the distance, there is a light at the end of it.

    Best of luck.

  • Hi D

I should follow what your specialists are suggesting and go on AS for a while. Low stats so u may be able to stay on for many years, I was on for 4.

Important to have regular checks , PSA etc in order to watch out for any increase in tumour size. Any further questions please come back, plenty of people on here to give advice.

    good luck

    Steve

  • Thanks both of you, and any advice is appreciated.

  • I've been having testosterone injections since late teens, and only in the last year I've had to have blood test before having a injection,  the found high in PSA.

  • Alarm call into lifestyle action and changes.

Things are low and not giving you prop....

Active surveillance implies 'watching' until something happens.....

If I was given that diagnosis I'd use it to make some changes....

  • What type of changes?

Things are low and not giving you prop....
  • Good prostate care diet, exercise, good sleep, releive stress,

Anything that would help me to help my body?

Some times I continue do same things and get same results....

  • Thank you everyone this is a big help.

Is been trying to find a active surveillance foum , but not having much luck.

  • I've been on AS since 2017. My stats were the same as yours. I have had no problems with the cancer, but the biopsy in 2017 left me with chronic non bacterial prostatitis from which I still suffer.

  • My hubby  has been on active surveillance since 2016, PSA rose and he has just had his prostate removed six weeks ago. Due to the side effects he is glad he was on AS for a number of years and escaped the incontinence and ED that he is currently suffering, hopefully short term , but it may be permanent.
