Hi all, I'm Gerry, new to cancer, new to computer and certainly new to blogs, forums, sharing, baring and pretty much anything to do with 21st century. At the moment, I'm much more scared of doing this than I am the cancer, but I'm sure that will change. Good luck and best wishes to everyone out there. Gerry.
Welcome!
It's well worth reading the 'toolkit' for general advice.

If I can't beat this, I'm going for the draw.
Meanwhile, my priority is to live while I have the option.
Ok Gerry, sorry to hear.
There is still hope though, new treatments etc
I would imagine they will start u on a course of Chemo soon, probably waiting for the hormone therapy to do it's work. Should get your PSA right down.
I know that the waiting is the worst part but at least treatment had started
I wish u all the best and keep us posted
Steve
Hi
I couldn't agree more. The waiting at the beginning of my journey was almost as bad as the diagnosis. The HT, as has already been said will knock your PSA for 6 so don't let that bother you.
Regards
Stuart
