Zoladex

I've been on 3 monthly zoladex jabs for a year now and my PSA is now down to 1.2 from 23 last year which is great. My question is do I need to be on it for life (which I don't mind) or can I have a break? I know I should have asked when I had the last jab, but anyone have any suggestions please?

  • Sorry, but it depends on the reason you're on it - is it following radiotherapy after initial diagnosis, or is it for advanced PCa?

    If I can't beat this, I'm going for the draw.

    Meanwhile, my priority is to live while I have the option.

  • PC is resricted to within the prostate and hasn't  spread and I'm not on any other form of treatment. That's all I know!

    I was diagnosis with advanced aggressive metastatic PC and I  have been on Zoladex for about 10 years together with radiotherapy initially and casodex after about 18 months. After a further 7 years casodex was replaced with enzalutamide now they are are all failing
