Hi im new to this I'm 29 years old and been diagnosed with prostate cancer advanced localised . Just on here to see how people are coping and what helps them to cope atm I'm but all over the place

  • Hi Hoddesdon, sorry to hear of your situation.

Do u have any stats to go on?

PSA, Gleeson score, I assume the MRI shows that the cancer has just broken out from the gland.

Obviously 29 is incredibly young to get this disease but if it's just broken out should still be curable.

There are many people on here to give u some good advice.

    All the best

    Steve

    • Hi my psa levels are 4.0 and gleeson score is 3 . Yeah I know I'm young to get it but I think they got it early my head been in full spin
  • PSa is near normal. Gleeson , I assume u mean 3+3?

How did they come across the cancer, any symptoms?

I was bleeding but thought it had something to do with my back as I had my t11/t12 shatter in my back . How are you what stage you at . And I appreciate your message

  • I had treatment in 2017, it's ok now, thanks for asking.

What does the MRI actually show?

This is what will show if it's locally advanced.
