I have newly diagnosed and whilst not curable my prognosis is years rather than months. I did have holidays already booked and the original travel insurance will no longer cover me for overseas travel. I was given travel insurance information by the urology nurses at Blackburn, to contact National Federation of Occupational Pensions ( not for profit organisation). Joined for £28 and a years individual travel insurance was just over £200 and no declaration of medical conditions, fantastic. As long as you get the ok to travel from the doctor then all good. Easy to deal with, did it all on the phone and now I can travel and enjoy myself without having to pay ridiculous fees.
Hello MatDuck
A warm welcome to the group, although I am so sorry to find you joining us.
To enable us to give you any help and advice are you able to let us have some details of your diagnosis and treatment plan? This helps us to help you and helps others to understand the journey.
Best wishes - Brian.
