Has anyone had any experience with the penile injections post radical prostatectomy with no nerve sparing? Or having the famous, but rare penile implant surgery??
Hello TMP . I cannot help with this question but others on the link I have attached might be able to. By putting a reply on it you might alert those who made a post to reply to you. By my replying to this link it will bring it to the top of the list for you.
I hope you get some answers.
TMP I was at a meeting at my local Maggie's a couple of months ago and there was a talk from two surgeons, one who did the 'artificial sphyncter' ops and the other who did the 'penile implant' surgery.
The talks were interesting, they had a few examples to pass around. I don't know if I would ever go for it as the implants in question made the penis stay the same size all of the time, but you can bend it to whatever shape you want (for comfort).
The other, the inflatable option, very similar to the artificial shyncter on how it works, you get a button which is placed in your scrotum, and press it to inflate your penis whenever the mood takes you.
I think the latter would be a better option.
I am just going to wait for nature to take it's course. See if my ED can become Non-ED.
