Hi guys.

Yesterday morning I lost my only support The love of my life.

Its not going to be so easy without the loverly lady.

Les

  • Hi guys and now to top it up  my PSA up 7 points from 3.1 to 3.9.

    Les

  • Good Morning Les

Yes it's risen (in fact it's been going up since July 2022) however as you are on Active Surveillance your team will be aware of this.

For your age the acceptable PSA range is 0.00 to 6.50 so at the moment your reading is well within the range.

I am sure if you have a word with your team they will re-assure you all is well and they are keeping an eye on you.

    I hope this helps.

    Best wishes - Brian.

  • Hi Les,

It is really good you brought forward the blood test from May to now. Its is great that the nurse will talk with you today to see what next. Please keep in touch and update us.

    Best wishes

  • Hello Les

You could try giving the PALS team (Patient Advice and Liaison Team) a ring - tell them the wait is causing you some anxiety in the circumstances and can they chase up your telephone call.

    01522 707071 - Lincoln County Hospital

    01476 464861 - Grantham & District Hospital

    01205 446243 - Pilgrim Hospital

Their e-mail for all hospitals is : pals@ulh.nhs.uk

Even if you don't use these details tomorrow you have them.

    Kind Regards - Brian.

  • Hi Les, if it was me I would phone again.

  • Me too.  I know the nurses are busy but it does no harm to remind them you are waiting for a call from them.
