Hi I was wondering if anyone had had experience of Radium 223. I would be grateful for any feedback.
Thanks.
I've no direct experience, but it's a highly targeted treatment for people with castrate-resistant PCa who have bone metastases. Many studies have shown that it can significantly reduce pain, and more recent studies are showing that it can add a year or two to life for those who have the full course (usually six cycles). It's often given in combination with enzalutamide, and has been shown to be safe, with negligible effects on healthy tissue.
