Just been diagnosed with t4 n1 m1 at 52 years of age had all the scans and biopsy taken just waiting on results to come back wondering what sort and how long treatment also been told they can't cure the cancer
Sorry to hear of your diagnosis, While your cancer may not be 'curable', it can be treated, and potentially you have many years ahead of you.
There's a number of treatment options, and what you'll be offered depends a lot of the details of the test results.

If I can't beat this, I'm going for the draw.
Meanwhile, my priority is to live while I have the option.
Hi Masrat
Never good news being told this, the treatments can vary, you will always be given a hormone medication to lower your PSA and start attacking the cancer. From there it could be either chemotherapy or one of the newish drugs enzalutamide or arberaterone possibly radiotherapy.
Because your young and I presume healthy and not allergic to anything chemotherapy would be a good start.
I’m a T4 incurable have been for over five years. So you have time on your side when deciding what medication you want to take.
I had hormone then chemotherapy then radiotherapy, now on hormone injections every three months and enzalutamide, doing not to bad as with every medication there is side effects but that’s for later.
Keep in touch we will give information and advice where we can, do not worry or panic, if you have a partner, Make sure their aware of your condition, better to know now than later.
Stay safe
Joe
Sorry for your diagnosis, I was diagnosed with Advanced Prostate Cancer on 5th August with a spinal core compression, I was started on Degarelix straight away then proscribed Abiraterone daily. Only side effects I have are hot sweats otherwise I feel much better on this treatment
Hi
OK, at least you know what the specialists will be dealing with now, there’s no need to panic, things will start moving along now, the future has many years for you, I’m on over five and my scores were much higher than yours, so don’t get down stay positive it’s a long road with people who have your welfare in their best interest.
stay safe
