Medication for enlarged Prostate

I don't think it should as most of us take tamsulosin at some time and also finesteral.  The best person to ask is your consultant urologist call his secretary and ask for him to give you the information. 

What is your PSA and cancer - gleason score etc?  Have you had a scan and biopsy and are you on active surveillance andhaving more frequent PSA tests?

My PSA is down to 3.05 and my Gleason score is currently 3+3 (6) and currently on active surveillance 

my consultant has just put me on finesteral and trialing for 6 months, so as long as I’m having regular PSA tests it should not have any effect on the cancer spreading I assume
