Hi everyone!

Has anyone got experience with having  hormone injections after being on hormone tablets?

I have been told that my recent three monthly PSA test has shown an increase from 0.03 -0.07 which is low but a jump.

  • good luck with your treatment. Make sure you know the pro's and con's of all treatment options research options and ask questions.

From personal experience Wafarin and chemotherapy do not sit well together. I have a friend much younger than you who was on Wafarin and had chemotherapy for a lung tumour. He subsequently had a major stroke and it was directly attributed by the GP to the particular combination of drugs.

    Cheers Seamus,

Thanks for that info, I had wondered if any of the medication I am taking might affect Chemo, I have now decided after discussing with my wife not to push for Chemo.Apparently this Prostrap Hormone treatment can keep you going for years then when it stops working there are other products available.
