hi , as anyone got any advice on how to deal with fatigue, I want to sleep a lot ,
thanks
Hi,
Just read your profile which just said you were having the operation on Friday but not which Friday? So, am presuming that you have had a radical prostatectomy fairly recently? I would think that you would be feeling tired after such an operation as your body has taken a pummelling along with the anaesthetic it will take at least a couple of months just to get over that. I would say the best thing to do would be to take things easy. A little exercise when you can - just a walk for 10 minutes 3 or 4 times a day will help. A little and often is good with everything including eating and drinking. Make sure your diet is good and drink plenty of water. Are you managing to sleep at night? Are you getting up often to urinate or are you still in some pain? If so this all adds to the fatigue. If you can give us some more information on your treatment, medication and when you actually had the operation we can advise a little better.
All the best
