Hello Everyone
My LH and I very much hope to have cruise holiday towards the end of September. Since his diagnosis in Sept 2024 I have been diagnosed with glaucoma. Since Jan 26 I've had 4 operations, the last 9 days ago.
Please, are there any holiday insurance recommendations anyone could share? Our current "pack" attached to our bank account wont touch my husband and yet want no additional information or fee for me. My condition is currently the one most unstable.
LH is feeling quite despondent, "another reality check". His recent scans in June showed no progression from 6months ago. (When he had an excellent result post chemo) His June psa had risen from 0.26 to 1.37 (started at 4432Sept 24). The plan is for re scans & psa in October. The letter from the Oncologist summerising everything so far hit us both hard this time. It felt like going back to diagnosis time.
Sorry for lengthy post just one of those "walls" I guess.
I'm trying hard to keep postive & we remind ouselves how lucky we are to be as old as we are & married 53 yrs.
Thank you for any information.
All good wishes.
Hello Suekee
I have a joint worldwide police with my wife who has other health issues, it excludes cruise holidays but is well worth the £780 we paid this year. The provider is a Company called Albert & Eddie, part of Insurancewith. Rather than spend ages filling in the online forms we found it easier to have all our medical details to hand - and contact them on the telephone.

Hello Sprinter
If it’s who I think it is - No they don’t
If you have used them personally then you could send Sukee a friend request and if she accepts then give her the details by PM.
Best wishes - Brian.

Hello Suekee ,
Like Millibob I also have a policy arranged through Albert & Eddie and insured with Holidaysafe which, like Insurancewith, is also part of the same group. I believe cruises are excluded but , like many other insurers, can be covered if necessary for an additional premium.
You could also check Lighthouse Travel Insurance, I saw Macmillan are partnered with them. They are also part of the same group that owns Albert & Eddie, Insurancewith and Holidaysafe.
I hope you can get sorted.
