Hi. My husband has his biopsy on Friday. Could you give me some idea what to expect, advice etc. should I go with him or just drop him off and collect him ? What was others experiences afterwards ? thank you x

Thank you for those comments I just hope that they go some small way to alleviate any fears that you and your husband may have.
I am afraid the next bit is one of the hardest. That is waiting for the results of the biopsy and this time can vary considerably between hospital trusts. I had a telephone message telling me the basic result in twelve days but that could have been much longer.
Yes thank you I am very well having had radiotherapy late last summer and seemingly recovering from that well. There are some lasting after effects but I have a good quality of life so what more can I wish for.
I write this reply to you from a canal side motorhome parking in eastern France coming to the end of six weeks holiday over here.
May I wish your husband a similar outcome from whatever he now faces.
