Leuven second opinion

Today was my first appointment in Leuven ,I send in advance my medical information so when I arrived today they already have seen my scans,biopsy, and everything, professor de Meerleer advise to do a new psma-pet scan to check how things are now, and make the final decision of treatment, if the scan confirms the previous ones and confirms the idea that everything as now shrunk different treatments are on the table ,to be discussed with the multi disciplinary team ,radiotherapy with all pelvic region included ,and if the prostate shrink to a certain size they want there is a possibility of surgery to remove prostate and lymph nodes ,I ask the difficult question ,is it curable, the doctor said ,yes ,the treatment is with curative intent, my treatment so far is going very good ,after 2 months in hormone therapy my psa is 0.18 ,the plan is make a new scan next month and one month after begin the decided treatment, now my glass is half full, and my mind set is much much better, in great part thanks to many of you here ,on the darks days you were the light ,when I was lost you were the beacon that kept me focused  thank you so much, I will never forget what you did for me .
