Looking at alternative options to surgery for prostrate cancer, what are views/experience of Nanoknife/HFU Therapy.
Hi Tench.
Good morning I hope that you are having a good day!!
I have only had HT and Radiotherapy for my PC to date!!
Hopefully you will have some other members who have had experience of both of these treatments in contact with you very soon.
Please come back to me if you need any further help???
Prostate Worrier.
Hi Tench
I have read good things on both and we have had people on here with good outcomes from hi fu, hopefully they will appear.
Not sure about long term success rates on both , probably still early days on nanoknife as I think more recent
I think king Edward V11 hospital in Windsor does nanoknife so could be worth checking that out.
All the best
Steve
Yes I did for 4 years.
But looking back I probably shouldn't have left it so long as when treatment started it was near the gland edge.
Check exactly where the tumor is located but then I think in a previous post u mentioned near the edge , but could be wrong.
Steve
