From what I have read of your test results, and this is only my opinion Active Surveillance should be fine. You have a low PSA - you are being checked every 3 months and an MRI in 9 months. That's some great service from the NHS. below is our guide to Prostate Cancer and AS

Hi SCJ , to me it sounds a reasonable course of action to go on active surveillance.  I am not medically trained but suspect a second opinion would also give you the same result.  Best wishes, David

So your stats are quite low really except for one thing , lesion is 14mm so not small, I would just check to make sure not near capsule edge, hopefully they would have checked that out but I need to be sure.

I started treatment when my largest tumour was about 13mm , it was near the capsule edge although doesn't mean yours is, could be positioned differently.

Perhaps a bit early for a second opinion but do a bit of detective work first
