Morning everyone just thought I would update what is happening with my husband, 5th round of chemo today, psa down to 0.36 still not sure if that is good but it's going down that's the main thing.
I'm still very apprehensive about everything until he has another MRI which they have said early September and then we will see the oncologist, they have said they are pleased with his progress.
Thank you everyone for supportive comments that I read all the time.
Hi Sheena (Irish Terrier ), that’s good news that he is getting through the chemo and good news his PSA is now low. Tell your OH he is doing well, you must both be delighted. Stay positive, David
Hello Sheena Irish Terrier .
The PSA is showing an extremely good response to treatment so far. It looks as if the target is a PSA of less than 0.2 at the 6 month mark after starting chemotherapy. Having the MRI in September will allow the experts to check that the cancer has been dealt with but there are options if anything is found.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
