I am wondering why you have been given an either or choice. There has been a lot of work done on what is called Triplet therapy which consists of your existing injections/implants plus both chemotherapy and Abiraterone with a steroid. I believe that for the best outcome all 3 should be started together but if this is not possible then chemotherapy should precede Abiraterone.
