PSA results -confused

I have just read your husband's profile and see that, like my husband, he is a non PSA secreter. My husband was diagnosed in July 2020 and has had 3 recurrences so far. What we have found is that any small PSA rise is usually confirmed as a recurrence by MRI which has then prompted a change in treatment. If you have any questions then please ask.

Hi Jnc, think of PSA as £ and pence, each PSA is £1.00,   £0.77p, £0.077p is7p and 7/10 of a penny.

Hi Jnc, as Grundo has said .077 is lower. Just wanted to say hi as your husbands stats are very close to mine as is when he was diagnosed, best wishes

thank you, it’s always a worry as we can’t rely on PSA but they said any increase and they would have him checked.  x

thank you for your reply,  I’ve just read your  profile, it looks like you have been through the mill as well. You were the same age as my OH when he was  diagnosed, he has non secreting PSA so not reliable.
