Hello, pls I would like to know these test results interpretation. After complaining to my dad's doc. about the horrible side effect of zoladex injection he was experiencing, he decided he stops the injection for now while he was placed on routine checks. His PSA after he stopped the injection was 0.2, three months after he tested 0.328.

Question now is, is it going up or coming down? Yet to see the Urologist as dated given still far but I'm curious to know. Thanks all.

  • Ok ,well best wishes anyway

Radiotherapy is relatively easy unless he already has bowel or urinary issues and would save him from having any further HT

  • If they still suggest it then we'll go for it. Thank u

  • Hello LizzyJ.

The others have given you excellent advice. As another expat then can I remind you inform the DWP that you intend to relocate in order to get dad's S1 as soon as possible so that the reciprocal health can click in quickly. Also check with the French authorities what documentation you will need eg. Residents permit which is a legal requirement after 3 months of moving to a new European country. It can feel like a quagmire but I found that by being prepared and having all the documentation with me then the authorities were helpful - it was usually SIT, they would take my file away, and then after 10 minutes, COME. and they would say, DONE, or in the case of residents permit, COME BACK TO THIS OFFICE IN 7 DAYS. Expat forums are a good source of information. Also don't forget that you are still part of this family no matter where you live.

All the best for your new adventure and keep us informed, plus come back with any questions.

  • Thanks a lot for your advice. My husband is French and will help with all the paper works. I believe he will start treatment as soon as he arrives next month. Yes, I will keep you posted. Thank u once again.
