Hi All,
After the diagnostic with the urology consultant, we were told will see the oncologist in weeks or months. We were given the hormone treatment immediately by the urologist. Can anyone tell me when is the first meeting with the oncologist because in our case as it is advanced the urologist finished his job.
Also can anyone says when is the first PSA check after starting the treatment and when you expect it to start being undetectable?
Any info will help
Thank you, you are all a wonderful bunch of people

Hi David,
Thank you. The private oncology appt tomorrow is a one off, not for treatment just for more info and make order in my head when and what to expect. We are not dropping from the NHS system, it is just seeing the expert and learning on the plan ahead in the NHS.
My view is that you need the NHS behind you on a journey like this but from time to time it is nice to sit in a private setting and discuss the options ahead.
Thanks again David, you are all so good!

Thanks Shar. It is a one off meeting just to learn what on offer in Sussex
Best wishes
Dafna
Dafna,
Mine was also a ‘one off’ but the NHS system somehow stalled. Good luck anyway.
David
Best wishes, David
