Hi
I have had severe stomach pains for two months, often worse at night. The Dr said it's from the injection, has anyone experienced this?
Thank you
Greener
Hi Greener
I sympathise with you. I often find the injection site can be painful for a period afterwards - for me it seems to be on the right side more than the left, go figure. However I wouldn't describe the pain as severe so maybe there. is. something else going on.
At my last injection the nurse suggested changing to Prostap3 which is given in your arm as that was more common at my GP surgery. I asked at my Onco appointment and she seemed relaxed about the change and said it was up to me. Maybe this is an option for you?
Best of luck and hope you can get it sorted. Steve
Hi Greener,
I've been on Zoladex injections for over three years and have never had severe stomach pains after each jab. The injection site has just been a bit sore for a couple of days which I cope with quite easily. I would press your doctor for further investigation as there shouldn't be severe stomach pain in my opinion. Good luck.
