Husband is currently having chemo plus takes daralutamide tablets twice a day and has decapeptyl hormone injections every 3 months. I note that some of you are taking extra medication for things like bones etc. Sometimes I feel as if our oncologist is abit laid back so just wondering if there is something we should be talking to him about when we see him next. Thank you
Hi Shar
The one you are thinking about is Calcium and Vitamin D Tablets. I am on those as the HT can weaken your bone structure.
When I read about it (thanks to a Community Member) on here, I asked my CNS about it and she said "Oh they should have been prescribed ask you GP". The GP just added them to my prescription without any fuss.
Best wishes - Brian.
