Hello all
I wanted to share my experience with hot flushes.
My radiotherapy finished last November Hormone Jabs finished in March.
The hot flushes have changed now and even before the heatwave started my core temperature felt as if I was in the sauna at the swimming pool. Also I was soaked from head to foot.
Now…… last night I took a shower before bed, nice and cool plenty of shower gel to wash out all the skin pores
Well…… guess what? No debilitating hot flushes!!!!!!
This was on a very very hot night too.
My suggestion is try it maybe unclogged pores can help.
Hello Strat_man. That's a new one on me, although I am happy with the Sage Tablets, thank you. My issue with too many showers is after a shower I can have itchy skin and use tons of moisturiser.
Thanks for posting though - I hope people find it also works for them.
Best wishes - Brian.

Hi Strat_man
Not sure whether it's the hot weather that has been making my hot flushes feel like an inferno, but I will certainly give it a try alongside the sage tablets Millibob suggested. Have only taken them for the last 2 days so early days yet to see if they are going to help.
For anyone considering Sage, whilst the hospital were fine with me taking them, I did have to clear it with a pharmacist first in case there was any adverse effect on my other medication for blood pressure.
All the best,
Brian
I hope the Sage Tablets work for you - I do use the expensive ones from H & B (other suppliers are available) called "Menoforce" but they have and are doing the trick for me!.
Keep me posted and good luck.
Best wishes - Brian.
