I was diagnosed with pc in 2017 since then my psa has been good but has risen to 1.95 from 1.66 I have an appointment with urology on Friday but I'm worried now .I would appreciate some response
Thank you Steve..no I have had no scan since. My psa since OP has been 1.02 then 1.24
Then around the same mark up and down last 2 tests have been 1.46l last year then 1.65last week I contacted my gp who arranged a urology appointment for Friday this is why I am worried
I'm not sure what you mean by "OP". Did you have a prostatectomy in 2017 or some other procedure? It would help us to help you if you could add some details to your profile.

Yes I had a MRI in September 2017 which revealed localized pc had surgery 2 weeks later and since then I have had monthly tests. It was me who raised concerns with my gp telling her I was worried about the increase from 1.46 to 1.95. Gp suggested that she could arrange an appointment with urology if that is what I wanted so I said yes my main reason for concern is why did urology arrange this appointment for so soon wouldn't they have told me over the phone if everything was ok,but I didn't speak to a urologist only the administration called to arrange the appointment
