  1. My dad has been suffering with pain in the side of his head. I don’t think it’s related but was wondering if anyone knew if it’s ok to take ibuprofen whilst taking enzalutamide?

many thanks

  • Best to send an email to your Oncologist nurse. Paracetamol may be a safer option because of the risks of bleeding with Ibruprofen or similar. I'm on Naproxen but trying to slowly come off it

  • I am on Enzalutamide got told I cannot take it as it’s a NSAIDs which ibuprofen is. I am don decapaptyl and zoledronic acid as well though so best to ask. I take paracetamol 4 x a day and tramadol and ora morph when required

  • Hi Sharon

I take co-codamol, or I have liquid paracetamol and codine, as my back and a few other places, are pretty painful. I have asked the oncologist who said these are fine to take with enzalutamide which I’ve been on for a few years now.

    Stay safe
