I’ve managed to survive my hot flushes for 12 months, just being a “bloke” and refusing to be beaten. But they seem to be occurring more now than anytime in the last 9 months. I’m probably having about 6 to 10 a day that make me stop or wake me up. Others seem manageable.
I read here that sage helps. I’ve been to Holland &Barrat and got “sage leaf” tabs, 2 taken morning and 2 afternoon. Is this the “sage” people say has helped them?
I am on Zoladex injections, I had hot flushes especially at night, I told my nurse and she prescribed Medroxyprogesterone 10mg tablets, no hot flushes for me
I’m on Zoladex too, I have another in a couple of weeks so I’ll mention that!! Thanks.
Yes, they are the ones and they work for me. They don't work for everybody but my hot flushes have been reduced from as you say 6/8 a day to the odd one.
Good luck with that one.
Kind Regards
Brian.
