Thanks for those who have provided support both on the open forum and through PM's. I am now finished with my RP sessions. I have another of the Zoladex injections on Wednesday. Since my last PSA was 2.99, I am praying for below 1.
I have been reflecting on two things. First, now for the foreseeable future is it PSA checks and Zoladex every three months and no MRI or CT scans?
Second, on second thoughts I shall put that one on the back burner.

Almost forgot - when I had my diabetic review at the GP's my Hba1c had shot up. (Along with my weight!). My GP did comment on this and when I told him the patient information leaflet with my HT treatment said this would happen, he advised me to lose weight and exercise more.
I have been trying to do this for a while - It's a balance between enjoying life and not!
On Sunday I am doing the 5k Race For life for cancer Research UK (along with 8 other family members) - I am trying to put in what I've taken out - but you know - there is life after Prostate Cancer.
Let's all enjoy it!!
Best wishes
Brian.

The whole thing is a conundrum, a labyrinth. It goes back to one of main preoccupations, the impact of the treatment on quality of life.
I am thinking that I might have to go on a diet but is that sensible with cancer? Who knows.
Hats off to you for doing a 5k run. Currently my joints ache so much I am incapable of running.
Do you require some sponsorship for the run?

Hi Rens
You are 101% right treatment v quality of life.
Pre prostate Cancer I eat carefully, drank in moderation and didn't exercise.
Post diagnosis - and I almost died with kidney failure first, my eGFR was so low - I have a whole new outlook on life and try to get 25 hours from every day. I enjoy a varied diet, I like my real ale, I love my live football and I thrive on holidays. Yes I am exercising but at 67 with a near death experience (Mrs Millibob has had health issues in 2022 - but is over those now) it's time to enjoy life........in moderation.
Thanks for the offer of sponsorship - I wasn't after that, just showing that I am trying to exercise and encourage others. If you PM me with either a mobile number or e-mail I let you have the sponsorship details.
You are a star!
Best Wishes
Brian.
