Hi All
I haven’t been on for a while, struggled with HT,
I was just wondering if anyone had PSA bounce after radiotherapy,
how long did it last? did it stabilise after a while .
I ask as mine has increased from .34 to 1.24 over 5 months but less than a year after radiotherapy .
Tony
Hi Tony
PSa bounce is quite normal but if u are still on HT that does make it more complicated.
I think you need to wait for the next PSA test which should tell you more. Perhaps if a long wait for one u could ask your GP to do one after 3 months .
Hopefully this is a just a bounce and the next one will level off.
Steve
The dates were September last year till February this year, results were 0.34, 0.48 1.0 and 1.24,
My last hormone injection was last June , my testosterone levels are up to 4.7 so I’m hoping that’s why my PSA keeps going up.
I was told if it goes to 2 I will have scans , I’m hoping it will stabilise, thanks for your replies
