Husband waiting for biopsy results

Thank you all for helpful responses. I feel reassured that this is very treatable and I feel less anxious now but still impatient waiting for results of biopsy. 

Hi Robina and Alan, sorry to see you on here but welcome anyway, waiting is the worst bit, everyone is different and react differently to treatments, I'm incurable, a friend has had the gland removed and is doing well two others have had RT and chemo again they are both doing well, it's hard to say what will happen or best way forward untill all scans and biopsy is completed. Hello Ulls thank you for your message. I hope you don’t mind I had a quick look at your profile My husband has been on tamsulosin for a number of years now and finasteride due to urinary problems and enlarged prostate. He’s had an MRI but not a CT scan.  Hi PSA has been between 5 and 6 

I hope it helped a little, I need to update my profile with latest complementary therapy and PSA results.

We are 1 week on from biopsy and feeling in a much better place thanks to all of the advice I have been given from all of you who have experiences to share. Another week to wait for results but I feel reassured that whatever we have to face something can be done. I have got over the initial shock and I feel a lot more calm and ready to deal with whatever comes our way.
