My hubby has developed painful prostate inflammation. He is stage 4 PC and on Zytiga for 15 months. We are worried disease has progressed again. Been put on antibiotics and longtec for the pain.also increased breathlessness in last three months.
Oncologist not keen to scan with previous heavy tumour load as he says it won’t change his treatment. Surely trials are an option for some? New treatments are said to be coming out all the time. PSA undetectable!
My lovely hubby has ductal-adenocarcinoma of the prostate. Has anyone heard of the rare ductal pathology being undetectable in PSA. Our clinicians are happy to tell you the bare minimum despite asking the same question about ductal and PSA many times.
what do you think?
kindest regards,
Louli
